Tea? 1960s
Tea? 1960s is from the Tea? series. It depicts the tradition of enjoying a cup of tea and biscuits with a friend and sitting down together for a conversation to catch up with each other’s news. This can be an important emotional support system and is an invaluable part of our culture.
I was so excited to find Wedgewood Pennine Tableware which is iconic of the 1960’s although I was not around to see this decade, I fondly remember seeing examples of this tableware in my grandmother's collection as a child. The vintage pattern tablecloth is iconic of the decade.
Now, onto the biscuits—the 1960’s featured melting moments and vanilla wafers as popular biscuit choices for enjoying with a cup of tea.
Owning a ‘Julie Cane’ enables you to enjoy something you love forever, and to experience the highest quality, collectable fine art enriching your home. My art is featured in many collections, including England, USA and Australia. This piece would make a great investment for your home or office.
